Electronic power steering Outlander

Hi, did anyone try to adapt an electronic power steering instead of keeping a hydraulic one in their conversion?
The Outlander PHEV Power Steering seems to be pretty simple, not much cables there.

I have no first hand experience but have seen others (youtube) using electric power steering from Prius.

I think speed signal ID=215
And ID=308 running engine, turns on the relay inside the electronic unit of the electric amplifier.
