Hello
Recently I've got problem with my inverterboard in my ldu, not sensing encoder.
Got new microcontroller and replaced those, is it possible to load bootloader through Web interface or do I need a st-link or similar?
/Thanks in advance Fredrik

You'll need an ST-Link.
The ESP has an SWD feature but it didn't work for me, unfortunately.

Re: Problem with new arm mircoprocessor
Okay thanks for quick reply, just curious if it could work without st-link. have a package with a stlink in it that comes on Friday but i want to test it now immediately =)
do you think my theory with encoder fault may have arisen from broken inputs on the arm processor? I had a nice square wave in to ARM. Replace the micro-controller because i took it for granted that the inputs were dead, probably because I had welded the frame at the same time as the engine was in the car unfortunately.
I managed to get a new microprocessor even though they were out of stock everywhere.
But when i got hold of my new st-link there should be a piece of cake?
Just flash with stm32_loader.hex then stm32_sine.hex, or do i also need stm32_bootupdater.hex?
Sorry for my novice questions

Re: Problem with new arm mircoprocessor
Just the first two.
I have killed just ONE input with overvoltage while the remaining controller still worked fine, so seems possible.

Re: Problem with new arm mircoprocessor
Can you elaborate on this?
Because i dont have it so clear either. There is flash program but if you open the bootloader it also wants to write to 0x80xxxx but the main program also flashes to 0x80xxxx so does it still make sense then?
Or is there maybe a youtube you made/know off?

Re: Problem with new arm mircoprocessor
The question is about the process to get the bootloader working with the ESP wifi dongle on a new chip.
What to load for the 103 or 107 chip?
