Useful Youtube Channels

Post by Jack Bauer »

Thought I would post a list of some Youtube channels that I have found over the years with good content relevant to diy ev projects. Some of these channels don't tend to get promoted as they don't play the clickbait game.

Probably the best way to learn about power electronics and igbts in a practical way is Subcooledheatpump :
https://www.youtube.com/user/subcooledheatpump

Not really EV specific but some good low budget projects from Kurtscottage :
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJZELy ... IWcB1SuXoQ

For all things Toyota hybrid related WeberAuto :
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtr07m ... JjL8Kw_q5A

Wolftronix has some interesting indepth EV electronics projects :
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiLeHx ... BTl3GbeahQ

Arlin Sansome for turbocharging your Nissan Leaf motor :

Aww, I was hoping he was going to hide the motor inside the block.

Sure is a long-effort way of basically creating a bearing. He still had to make mounting points, fabricate pulleys and couplers, weld... didn't save a lot of time.

I see this being an "okay" way of eliminating the need for mounting and flywheel adapters. a timing belt and some basic mounting and he's on the road!
