I am interested in the Boost Inductor, so have started a thread just to capture some of this data that may be useful to someone,

I have measured the inductance of this inductor to be using a DE-5000: 258.5uH @ 10kHz.
Measured the DC resistance using a DC current source to be: 0.141V / 8.77A = 0.016 ohms.

Mayby we can use this boost inductor with this project https://www.diyelectriccar.com/threads/ ... ger.36627/

No, this was the barebones charger and it had a nasty habit of measuring battery voltage in between pauses. This caused lights flicker in house and other wierd sounds...wwojciech wrote: ↑Mon Aug 31, 2020 7:32 am Mayby we can use this boost inductor with this project https://www.diyelectriccar.com/threads/ ... ger.36627/
The charger that i lean to is EMW design, which is a derivative of upper one, but it has good serial control and isolated measurements. I run it for 7 years now in 3phase with very good results. Read up on the thread. Firmware is sort of open source....DOH!
