2015 SMART battery ideas ?

Post by Lee Malo »

I need help with finding a BMS that would work with this Smart battery . I do have the Factory BMS but i was thinking using a different BMS would be cheaper than trying to get the factory one to work correctly . The battery has 30 cells in each module and there are 3 modules . Each module voltage is around 112 - 113 volts, total around 336-339 . What are your thoughts ? What stand alone bms would be the best for this application ?

Poor quality lingers long after the cheap price is forgotten.

I have had bad experiences with this BMS, known by a few as the killer bms.

Have you checked for any cells at 0V? These batteries are known to die when not in a char and being charged regularly.
