Zombieverter Torque Request Guidance

Post by ElectroMike »

Hello, and happy new year.

Looking for some guidance on getting an initial test spin with the L210.

Ver 2.20A
IS300H inverter and eCVT
RX450H throttle - DENSO 78110-33011

Had a throttle12diff error with my prius pedal, so switched to above (both eBay buys). No lasterr with the latter. Spot value overview:

Opmode = Run
T15Stat = On
Lasterr = none
Status = PotPressed
INVStat = on
INVudc = 51 (testing with bench power unit at 50V)
Dir= drive (reverse shift signal also working)
Din_forward = on
Receiving temp readings also

However when depressing the throttle, Potnom = 0 (same for torque)

RX450
Potmin = 504 so using 515
Potmax = 2303 so using 2290
Pot2min = 988 so using 1000
Pot2max = 2808 so using 2790

I tried single pot with signal 1 also, but same result. Is this still a throttle issue?

If it helps, I’ve also attached a json file. In case I’ve messed up with the settings.

I've also attached a pdf of my spot values and plot info.

Much appreciated.

IS300h has a known bug with a fix now to restore the IS300h functionality.

However the issue you are seeing is due to:

UDC being 0. this is the value used for the limits. Set udcmin to 0.

This was not an issue before as the voltage limits did not function this has been fixed in this release.

There will be a release soon to fix the two bugs in the 2.20A release: IS300h inverter and LIN bus

Forgot to ask. Does the IS300H bug apply to older firmware also? Eg V2.15A?

Ah ok. I kept my settings the same, but installed V2.15A. The sound I'm getting doesn't seem right (hopefully the link works), on top of the judder.
Would you mind scanning my settings in case I've missed something. I've attached the json file.
If it's not the settings, I'll go back and recheck all wiring...

This is most likely due to your test setup and using a power supply.

Yeah. It was the power supply. Thanks.
