Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
I just got my new Ender 3 S1 setup and wanted to test some small prints. Have been in the progress of designing ways of reusing the Rear motor and Inverter, the biggest issue is the connectors. I have now designed a basic connector starting point that use the "dupont" style header connect...

Re: Subaru e-mpreza (Impreza) 96 - AWD with 2 Outlander rear motors
I'm almost done wiring the car, almost everything works by now. As we figured out that the Zombieverter could only drive the rpm OR the speedometer i decided for the speedometer and put an digital gauge in place of the rpm gauge. Re: BMW i3 CCS/charge port controller
If I test 1b-8 against 1b-15 then i get 12v.
No frequency or anything else...
12 volt ist constant, no matter if the plug is inserted or not

Re: BMW i3 CCS/charge port controller
I'll test what the 1B-15 does, i hope it's a pull up output that delivers 12v once plugged in. With that you could easily simulate to your OBD that the car is plugged in by attaching a pwm generator to a relay. In my case it'll be a direct charge interlock for the Orion BMS on charge power, if it's...

Re: Zombieverter always on, although ignition off
So if i park the car for 2 Months this will drain my Battery??? Can there be a software implementation that shuts the Zombieverter down to a minimal use of power after 6 hours of no driving? Re: Homemade ESS with Hyundai Kona batteries
Meanwhile the system is running and i'm more than pleased with the functionality of the Victron Multiplus 2 GX device. With this device it is definately possible to retrofit a ESS (Energy Storage System) into any existing solar grid installation. I now have a tariff for energy that is billed by the ...

Zombieverter always on, although ignition off
I installed my Zombieverter and checked four times - still the wifi module keeps blinking and distributing it's wifi, although the ignition is off. Is it supposed to be like this?
I have +12v on pin 56
Ignition +12v on pin 15
Ground on pin 55

Re: Wanted - nissan leaf 110kw,160kw Inverter Logic Board
My inverter kept shutting down if I pushed the pedal hard... I never could set throtcur above 7.5! The current below 2000 rpm was just too high and it had to deliver it for too long. Maybe the weight of the car is the factor here. The lighter car is much faster out of the zone where the Amps are ext...

Re: Gen2 to Gen3 inverter plug conversion. Wiring diagrams needed
The linked Plug in the Threat is wrong - it's the one from the Battery. I bought this and it didn't fit. I then bought another used Plug that from an actual GEN3 Inverter. There is no other option than buying an original Plug cut out of the Harness as far as i know.

Gen 3 160kw inverter only outputs 125 kw
I have installed a Gen3 inverter and it only outputs 125Kw. I kindly like to ask Johannes to paste the line of code here so someone maybe can identify the issue.

Re: 64kwh Kona battery
If you have more than one pack of the 39 kWh Kona, then off course you just could put more in series to raise the voltage. My experience with the Nissan leaf GEN3 over can control is that the output power is 100 percent constant throughout the state of charge and RPM the whole time. In conclusion of...

The 35mm cables are just in there because the Mitsubishi outlander inverter has them from factory. I'm wondering how they limit Power over time?

As I'm in Vietnam at the moment and only have my phone, could you be so kind and compare the upper calculations with a 50mm² cable? How big are the differences? Thanks so much

Re: Subaru e-mpreza (Impreza) 96 - AWD with 2 Outlander rear motors
I think the main issue here is cable length: 400cm one way
So the main question is: can a 35mm² cable transport 90kw at nominal 310v, 268 min voltage, 350 max voltage which results in max 335A?

[.....] In the end it was a kit intended to use as a replacement of what the KLE does (and thus work in a 96s setting). But you can of course (re)design a voltage sense board solving the remaining challenges. I'm only using it with 84 cells, do i have to obey anything when using the voltage sensing...

Re: Subaru e-mpreza (Impreza) 96 - AWD with 2 Outlander rear motors
I'm using 50mm² cable in the Toyota GT86 conversion at 130kw / up to 400A. The cables never got really hot. In the Subaru I'm pushing 80kw for each motor, means the 4m of cable have to safely transport 300A. Isn't 30mm² too small? Although I'd like to be wrong. Obviously in the outlander they only u...
