Re: Model 3 PCS Controller Support Thread
They are just X caps for providing some emi filtering. Just make sure the replacement has the same value and at least the same voltage rating and you are good to go.

Re: Tesla Model 3 Rear Drive Unit Hacking
Made a start this morning. Helps that we can now get the datasheet for the STGAP1BS now as opposed to the 1AS.
Mr.M uses a N chan and P chan fet to boost the gate drive.
N-Chan : Infineon IPD50N04S3-08
P-Chan : STD45P4LLF6AG
Working out the descrete parts next.

Yes I've just came across a few different firmware versions out in the wild so want to make sure everyone is on the same page. Regards the wifi I suspect its a victim of the Olimex problems I described a few posts back.

Re: MEB Chargers
Nobody eh? Ah well, more glory for me then I suppose. So I fought my way through the various VW tech info pages. My charger is from a 2021 Seat Mii but looks to be the same pinout wise anyway to the EGolf. Now I'm off to reboot out of Windoze 10 and internet gomeplorer as fast as the reset button wi...

"fslipmin": 0.96,
"fslipmax": 1.5
Where did these values come from? because that right there is your problem.

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
SOC is calculated using data from "BattCap" at the isa shunt. The interaction of the charge parameters is explained in the instructional videos to the best of my recollection. However I suspect your battery is full. Charge is terminated when 1)Idc drops below IDCspnt AND 2)UDC exceeds Volt...

Re: The LandYacht BMW E39 Saloon
Well part of why I build cars is as test beds for things I'm developing or hacking. Noticed there are very few options for low power on board AC charging so decided to give the VW a go as they are plentiful and cheap. May as well use the E39 for testing and development.

Just use an external voltage divider. To be honest I've not gotten around to using them myself as yet.
