Re: Wemos D1 flash issue: No Spot Values

It's got this now, but of course that requires flashing the latest Web UI. That will take a while to trickle through

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

If the QCA reports "Bootloader" as software version, it was not able to load its firmware from the SPI flash Coincidentally I just had that exact symptom. Turns out the QCA had some bad solder joints. Quite intuitively on the side pointing towards the flash. Also the SPI flash itself had ...

Re: Wemos D1 flash issue: No Spot Values

Just to confirm: you flashed stm32_loader.hex and stm32_sine.hex (or foc) and you get a 5 Hz blinky LED (provided the through hole board has got one?)

Re: [WIP] Volvo V50 upgrading to Brain board

Do I have to activate can on the brainboard or something like that? You need firmware at least 5.27.R and canspeed 500 . All else doesn't matter. You should also update the ESP32 firmware itself, it has some reliability improvements https://github.com/jsphuebner/esp32-web-interface/tree/can-backend...

Re: [WIP] BMW Z3

Mine turns off at 400V and turns back on at 393V. So short acceleration bursts are sufficient to start it back up but likely short regen bursts turn it off again.

Re: QCA7000 Foccci+Clara User thread

Documentation is still growing ;) Where it says "Node ID" in the left navigation bar you need to enter "22". then wait a few seconds and turn on refresh. It was discussed before but even I can't find it right now

EDIT: touching it here: https://openinverter.org/wiki/CCS32Clara

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

argh, the picture is wrong. The relay is connected before the reverse polarity diode.
I saw it on the scope that while the relay was on supply voltage (behind the diode) had risen from 12 to 20V!

Re: Foccci wakeup/sleep discussions

Is focci able to detect the duty of CP and if it's over 5% switch over the CP to the OBC for AC charging? Like Tom says, it's not really intended. What I do see is removing the 2k7 from foccci and just paralleling OBC and Foccci. Then the 2k7 inside the charger is used to enter state B. So when DC ...

Re: Am I to dumb for Open Inverter

Any power source that can't absorb energy is risky, in case you accidentally brake (regen) the motor the energy has nowhere to go. You can turn off regen e.g. with throtmin=0 but it can still happen e.g. when playing with manualiq So agree with Matt, a battery with fuse and cooker element in paralle...

Re: strong tremor of the motor when rolling backwards.

Ok, good to know. I also run throtcur=5.5, are you running in fact double that because you only measure on one power stage?

In that case your tremor would just be an amplified version of mine. If I fix the subtle one it would fix the the strong one as well

Can you try going back to zero-ish and instead activate resolver pinswap? Not sure if it makes a difference mathematically, just to test

I don't quite understand which part you flashed. The ESP Wifi board? Because "asking for a new Firmware or filestructure file " means the file system of the ESP8266 was lost. In this case look here: https://openinverter.org/wiki/Olimex_MO ... bInterface

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

I'm testing the latest revision now (https://github.com/jsphuebner/foccci/tree/wakeup) The wakeup now (almost) works as expected. I found the 10k pull-up on the button is too high. With the 100k+22k divider for the uC sense pin it sits like 0.7V below supply voltage and that is already enough to tri...
