For me it was bad connection between inverter and motor ( Resolver)

I metered every pin on the inverter to check against the values listed in the service manual (see attached)

Note that RSDN should be pulled low.

Once that was sorted it all worked very easy, no particular sequence.

Hm... first tell me what do you use in way of VCU?
Philosophy here is NOT to turn OFF the motor/inverter but rather put the inverter into disable condition. This is done by changing Byte[6]=function in telegram 0x287. You could use a CAN repeater or "man in the middle" to filter certain messages ...

hi all,

just a quick question on outlander motors.
i want to have a manual on/off button
to turn off /on rear motor so that only front motor will run to save battery during slow speed.

what would be the simplest option and recommended option?

Manually turning off rear motor

Hi, my front and rear motor in outlander is working.
i want to manually turn off the rear motor so that only front motor will run. I know this will throw DTC codes hut this car will only be used on slow speed thus turning off the rear motor will help save battery.

i want to add a toggle ...
