I just posted in the comments on this video that you should come here or to https://endless-sphere.com/. Hopefully, the battery isn't security locked. If you can read the data from the battery you can safely override the contactors and write your own code to handle when to open or close them.

This is an amazing job. While I'm sure someone will figure out how to flash the OEM chip over CAN like Tesla does, this is a great alternative.
Combine this with a BMS, CCS Charging and a VCU and you could run a whole car.

Well your not going to get anywhere unless you do something. Having dealt with bodies like UL/TUV/CSA on consumer equipment, you have only two options. I purchased this Launchpad I'd definitely be willing to help as well. Though I don't have a ton of experience programming TI parts. I'm going to try and figure out how to blinking the LEDs mentioned.
Hopefully, once we end up with these motors overflowing at junkyards the price will come down.
