Re: Anyone interested in designing a pcb for me £$¥
I have written some new code to update my existing basic vcu built on perfboard! This new version takes over throttle and regen input duties so I can transmit them to the 2 oi boards using the latest and safest firmware, it also incorporates al my rx8 dash functions and does motor/gearbox speed ...

Re: Outlander rear inverter DC connections
I should know the answer to this as i've been here before but my notes don't record this...
Which of the DC in connections on the Outlander rear inverter is the positive ? I think its the left hand one (i.e. next to the motor wires) in this picture as this has the 30a and 40a fuses on the two ...

I had to get the real thing so i could be sure which comparative sensor i will buy to replace it in this VW Cupra battery. I am not sure what kind of sensor is in there. I need a way to test the OEM VW sensors inside the battery too. Thanks for the model.

I want to imitate your setup first time to avoid running into the same problems, I found this and looked on the wiki but didn't see anything new, did you end up writing about it yet? Maybe some kind of napkin schematic? TIA!

Re: HOWTO: ESP32 Drop in replacement boards
I've been using the ESP32 in my Zombie for a couple of weeks and so far so good.
I haven't seen any communication errors since installing it and before they were frequent so I'd say this is a very worthwhile upgrade.

Can someone explain how I can implement a (2000psi, 0.5 - 4.5v) brake line pressure sensor to increase regen in parallel to brake force, in the zombieverter.
Thanks
Why complicate with pressure? You could use linear pot 5K to return 0V to 5V signal. You put this under your brake pedal ...

I can confirm receipt of one gen3 charger... single phase wired for 3phase connection and modules rewired.
Nice silicone wire harness added and clearly marked. see photos
I must rate this product 5 of 5. Also shipping in EU was very fast.

Thanks for the reply,

Ah your chip could be set to different pole setting. Leaf motor is 8-pole, 3-phase, 48-slot machine. Could be that you have a 4 pole count set in chip and ...
Or you have FOC set incorrectly?
Read the datasheet if there is a possibility to set pole count on resolver chip.

It seems like a and b channels is readding it but I am not getting full 0-360 rotor position using encoder . I checked encoder ground to pin 22 and 23 of MCU, pin22 is reading 1.3v while pin 23 reading 4.9v is it normal? Any guess what's causing this?
Best regards.

They usually are powered from the HV side and require modules connected to work.
