GS450H motor performance data gathering

Post by EdAtki »

I've been reading through the wiki and forum trying to collect info on the GS450H motor but I feel there is a lack of real world data despite plenty of builds so I thought I'd create a thread to try and consolidate it all.

Most important is max power and torque figures, the wiki simply has the rated figures but has anyone actually had their car on a dyno and can verify.

Failing that we should be able to work backwards to get approximate figures if any finished conversions can provide:
  • 0-60 time (or ideally 0 to a range of speeds)
  • Mass of vehicle
  • Final drive ratio
  • Wheel size
  • MG1 & MG2 or just MG2
  • Low or high gear
I'm happy to update the wiki with any information that comes from this.

Thanks for the link, that was the only real world evidence I'd been able to find. 170kW ish is great but it's a fair bit short of the rated 250kW the wiki states, hence me making this thread to see if we can back that number up.
