I am very interested, however, I am also keen to bottom out some open questions I have.

1) Confirmation of the conditions of the batteries.
2) The source of the batteries (due to quantities we are talking it feel like used stock, which would be a good thing)
3) Any warranty or guarantee
4) @ circa 50 euro per KW are the batties ex-works or delivered to a certain location.

I do apologise for the list of questions, I simply like to go into things with as many facts as possible.

I do fully appreciate this is being done for the benefit of the forum members.

So it looks like there is around 50 packs of commitment, and it's all gone a bit quiet - is this enough to start the ball rolling?

I imagine most people have a project in mind, so may not be able to commit forever before needing to find another source...

Happy to help out in any way I can

Certainly interested in this in a few months I would think - once I've been on the New Electric course that is!

Feedback: ‘I'll wait until you get more volume... they won't take you seriously otherwise and you'll only get one chance to order’

I’ll try to drum up interest elsewhere as well.

Did they say how much is enough?

If we have something to aim for then people can maybe be a little flexible on their needs to meet a shortfall.

I would imagine I could go for 24/30 modules dependent on sizing.

Although not remotely ready, it's impossible not to go for this, I'll say 12 units but hoping to say 18 depending on my progress.

Any Kiwis wanna get in on this? I'm keen if we can work out a shipping option.

I'd be in for 12 modules.

@jnsaff do you mind giving an update on the plan now demand has been quantified somewhat?

It seems like quantity is around 75 packs now, surely this is enough to open a conversation? I can't see it growing by an order of magnitude, and it's unclear what the target is here...

I updated the totals, we're at 84 packs now. Kevin Sharpe has the contact and I have no other indication about what is the optimal amount than 'shipping containers'. I added the weight number to the totals and 9.5T is getting there, volume wise it may well be over but I don't know where they come from nor how they will be packed.

I guess if we take a conservative estimate of an assembled pack of 1m x 0.4m x 0.4m (with almost zero packing) - around 14m3 for 84 packs

10' container is 16m3 and 13.6 tonnes according to my google-fu, I'd say we've pretty easily filled that?

Is there an established schedule for the buy? Where is the container going to be delivered?
