IVT-Shunt Wiring Diagram Error?

Post by davidmichelman »

Hi all

The Leaf Stack wiring diagram on the Zombieverter wiki page (link below) shows power going to pins a and b of the IVT-shunt's X1 connector. But the datasheet specifies pins a and d for power and ground. Are there multiple/older versions of the IVT-shunt, or is there an error in the wiring diagram?

Also, I do want to thank whoever took the time to put together the leaf wiring diagram. I find it very helpful.

Pin configuration is on page 15 of this datasheet - https://www.isabellenhuette.de/fileadmi ... _V1.02.pdf

By all means no conclusive but from memory mine is wired with a and d and the 12V and ground. I think this is also shown in the figleaf zombieverter shunt video on YouTube.

I stumbled upon this same topic while working on the wiring diagram for my setup. A good lesson to always double check from multiple sources if possible.

To me it looks like a difference between IVT-MOD (older version of shunt with orange header connectors) and IVT-S (white~ish connectors)

On the positive side VDC is always pin 1, so things shouldn't let out the operational smoke if CAN L/H and GND are crossed. (see, I don't really know, so you should double check if something will break ;) )

i put the drawing together, yes there are to different versions of the shunt. i have a few older shunts, which i drew up the wiring for.

would be good to add these photos of the shunt pinout out to the wiki
