New CATL 180ah 14.8V modules Vs Used Hyundai Ionic 5 Modules

Post by ziwamark »

Hello,
I'm currently working on a conversion project and came across these new CATL 180Ah 14.8V modules CATL Battery Module https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ ... 4a13TcW0Ac. My original plan was to use used Hyundai Ionic 5 Modules. Now, I'm considering whether to stick with the used Hyundai Ionic 5 Modules or switch to the new CATL modules. Which option would be better?

Tell us more. Do you have direct experience with both? How about CATL 6s2p modules? 😊

I have been making various electric vehicles for many years. I've tried many different batteries. catl is the best that exists on the market.
I use catl 4s1p 180ah , 6s1p 116 ah. they perfectly give off huge currents to the load and do not heat up at all. they also don't seem to degrade after years of use. I choose 3.3 volts lower value and 4.15 volts upper value.
