Hi There,
I would like to know how you guys are doing for the A/C system specifically the heating part...Since the Tesla Model S evaporator unit is to big for my application and I'm not familiar with let's say the Nissan Leaf or any other EV evaporator I'm planning to use a Restomod Air unit. This unit have a heat exchanger inside to heat up the air that goes thru the cabin. I have the Tesla's cabin heater as well as the coolant heater.
I don't see a way to make that electric heater to work with the Restomod evaporator unit, so I was thinking using the coolant heater with some valves so I can divert the heated coolant to Restomod when is needed and/or to the battery coolant loop when charging on cooler temperatures.
What you guys think should be the right approach? What you guys are doing?
Regards,
A/C system What you guys are doing?
