Programming wemos
I got a Wemos to replace the fried Olimex, and have it on the adapter board. When I plug it into the VCU, the Wifi shows up, but I can't connect to VCU. I've tried to follw the instructions for programming the Wemos, but have had no success. Would anyone be able to program this for me? Happy to pay for your time. Thanks.

That shouldn't be necessary. I think I used up my last D1 Mini or I'd just click "program" and mail it to you. It's 30 seconds of effort.
I'm not sure I'm much help, I basically needed non-stop handholding the whole way, but, where'd you get stuck? What instructions did you follow?
Take a picture of your physical wire setup.
Give us details and with some persistence I'm pretty sure you can figure it out. There shouldn't be non-replicable problems.
