BMW BMS gone quiet

Post by FFMan »

Just working on resurrecting my EV, and the BMS attached to my front battery pack isn't reporting voltages anymore. The canbus part is working as i can see the modules report in, and i send the commands to it, but it doesn't respond with the voltage messages

The rear pack is working just fine, same code etc

Did i see somewhere a need or code to reset the sequence ID ?

thanks

i don't have a can log, just my debugs at the moment.

I'll get a log, but battling to get a canbus to usb adapter working at the moment. bought something which shows up as 'candlelight usb to can adapter' in device manager but i can't get savvycan or cangaroo to use it. it needs more work or even a f/w flash
