Mini Loader -- deICEing and planning

Post by torulf »

This odd creation had a 500cc Rotax 503 in it. The Rotax is for sale.
It has Volvo axles front and back. 4x4.
Was driven by CVT through a fwd/rwd/neutral box, but will be electric instead.
The hydraulics was powered directly from output shaft of motor.
It was quite hard to drive, had to be put in neutral to lift the loader without driving off..
Here is a video from when a friend was trying it.
I will give it 2 motors, one for hydraulics and one for driving.
I am planning to use 72V system as i have 2 x 85V 250A VESC controllers already. This might change.

I have a few motors laying around.
2 x Leaf stacks 80kw. But i do not want to use them on this, i have other plans for them..
A 4kw induction motor 3 phase 400V.
A Think City 3 phase motor with 1:10 reduction.
A "90kw" Hyundai (Enova) motor.
A paraglider motor 25kw max, 190kv

Or maybe i need some other motor. What do you think?
This is mostly a toy, so it needs to be a low budget build.

I guess I'd use the paraglider and the think motor as I believe they run at low voltage?

Then you could use a Prius inverter which has two inverters to drive each motor. Maybe even the boost converter will come in handy. It can only handle 100A but maybe it is sufficient for this?
