Back from the festival

Weather was not always good but when it didn't rain many people came by and wanted to know about EV conversions.

Towards the end some Touran owners walked up to me and wanted to go for a ride. We were free to use the race track (Hockenheimring) so I took them for a spin on the damp track. They all agreed it has more punch than the Diesel. I could also verify that the ESP still works

There was also a cool company called 2nd ride who sell bolt on conversion kits for former GDR mopeds. It takes just 1 hour to convert your smelly to a non-smelly moped with more punch. Very jealous, our cars take many 100 hours

On my way home I visited a customer who converts an Aston Martin V12 to LDU and full 85 kWh battery pack. Extremely tidy build and despite the high battery capacity it even lost weight!

Apart from that all quick charge sessions worked despite the wet conditions but I lost the BMS enable signal when in drive mode. So now I have to walk around the front, briefly plug in the granny cable to kick off the BMS, then I can drive
