Toyota Prius Gen2 board reports NOT implemented in FOC variant
Just switched on ,the new board Toyota Prius Gen2 reports : NOT implemented in FOC variant .
What shall be set or done to set the just FOC variant?

Oh I get it, you're trying to run in manual mode. Yes that no longer exists, there is only normal run mode in FOC.

If you want to do the basic setup just flash stm32_sine.bin which you find here: https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-sine/releases

If you want to do actual FOC setup just start in normal mode and use manualiq/id as before

Does anybody knows the corresponding commands of :
Ampnom and Fslipspnt in the new FOC 5,27R ?
How to restart to normal run mode , after stop inverter key was pressed ?

The flashing with FOC -Bin didn’t change the results.
Having a new board , I started again with the Open Loop test. But as it is, there is no sign of progress.
The bulb of the HV12V supply and the 3 bulbs of the HV-3fase connector are not responding.no matter of fact what value is set on manualid.
The wiring is correct, left from the previous exchanged board, which performed all test perfectly including the tuning procedure.
Where should I seek for failure ,or should I exchange the controller?

Why did you flash stm32_foc.bin again? It is already on there. Please read carefully and flash stm32_sine.bin

It is my mistake,taking the wrong FOC version.Now downloaded the SINE.BIN and hope this time it will work.

I performed some test with both files SINE.BIN and FOC.BIN ,but did not succeed to make the bulb lights and the motor run.
The set values on manualid(ampnom) and manualiq (fscpspnt) did not change the result.
Even exchanged the controller to be more sure ,that everything is right.
Is there a way to test to controller, if is working properly? What shell I do or perform to reach some result in the testing.

FAILED OPEN LOOP & TUNING with the new 5.32R sine/foc

By misfortune I damaged my well running ToyotaPrius2 board.
With this board I was able to get syncofs stop and run the motor at ease.
But now with the new board replacement and the newest 5.32R sine/fos.bin files I am unable to perform even the Open Loop test.
There is any light flashing and motor turns ,no matter of fact which value you set manualud/manualiq.
I am able to map the pot but not the angle. The three phase terminals on the controller reeds 3.6V each.
I am exhausted with testing and testing, leading to no result.
What else should I do, to get to the correct procedure.

I received the spare board with the 5.27R foc version,it did not run either,that is why I updated it.
I do not have a copy of the file from the dameged board,and so do not know which version is.But it did not have the command in testing: manual start,only the manualid and manualiq.
Any idea what is wrong or damaged ?

In this dump opmode is off so no PWM is generated. As long as you're doing basic checks use sine software not foc

It is also a not big help.Do`t change anything.I am able to map the pot but not the angle.No lamps are blinking or motor turning.
Should be some other reason ,but which one ?

opmode is still off, set udcsw to 0 to be able to start.
Alternatively, flash some older software with the known behaviour and manual mode: https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-sin ... ag/v4.97.R

Just performed a test with the 4.97R version.
Set UDCSW to zero, but again opmode is off, all lamps dark but able to map pot.
Any idea which setting is wrong?

OPMODE NOT MORE AVAILABLE TO SET

By misfortune I damaged my well working ToyotaPrius2 board,which was able
to get syncofs stop and run the motor at ease.
After replacement of the board with the newest 5.32R sine/fos -bin files, I am getting trouble to set the OPMODE ON .
I am able to map the pot. The three phase terminals on the controller measure 3.6V each,but there is not motor turn or bulbs dimming on the HV terminals. Replaced the controller with other one, in the hope the change will perform better. Performed also many program updating with 5.27R foc-sine and previous version 4.97R foc-sine ,but to no avail. Set UDCSW to zero again but didn`t help. I am frustrated of the inability to find out where is the fault .Even I am considering to get another controller in the hope to get it right .
Does somebody where to look for failure and set the OPMODE ON ?

What voltage is the fault pin coming back from the inverter? possible a damaged inverter will be halting progress

Can you try disconnecting MFIV (Pin 27 on controller) from the inverter and feed it straight with 12V?

I will merge all your topics on this since they treat more or less the same thing
