CCS file for Azure 445 dmoc

Post by willie2380 »

i am new to the forum, i am trying to build an electric smart for two car. i was able to get a hold of one of these azure dynamics controllers. I had herd of the problems with connectivity but took the chance. so I am looking for a ccs file for an Azure 445 dmoc with a GUID of A8-92-92-FF-CB-5b-C3-26 doesn't matter for what motor since the motor we are trying to use is a standard industrial motor. Also as a plan B, it would be nice to get some recommendations for reputable sites that sell controllers that can do 144volts.

edit.. wolf (not of this forum might be able to do something for you {probably as a consultant/fee] as he knows the inverters and chargers of the era quite well)

Rule 1 of EV Club is don't buy a rust bucket....

hey thanks for the info. we have sent wolf a couple of emails, but have not received any answer. i have been thining of your first sugestion of replacing the board in the unit. however this would probably be my last resort. we have succefuly communicated with the unit but are lacking the ccs. file. i guessing that it is some sort of flash file. anyways thanks for the help. just a bit more info, if bought my son this smart for two, 2015. it ran well for about 3 years and then overheated. i repalced the head gasket, and it was ok for about 3 months, then the engine overheated again. these little cars are a pain to work on. i think it would make a nice EV. i enjoyed pulling that crappy engine out.

I’m going to look through my stuff side I have the same azure dynamics controller. I’m pretty sure I have a CCS file that will work. I was able to get in touch with wolf and get some help from him even though it took quite a while.

I was never able to get the communication to work correctly, maybe we can help each other out!
