Increase your PotMax from 50 should give you more torque request.

Can you check your pedal mapping? Are you flat to the floor during runs?

I've already changed it to 100, checked pedal mapping earlier, all ok and flat to the floor

So something is still heavily limiting you as potnom should not be that low and go flat.

since I have to remove the l210 transmission again I decided to treat myself as I'm getting too old to to drop heavy things on me
much better than having a transmission balanced on a jack on bits of wood waiting to fall off

I'm going to pull out the L210 to fix the coupling to lock the input shaft solid hopefully at the end of the week so if anyone wants me to do any runs before that to get specific data let me know hopefully the l210 wil be out and back in quickly but sods law say's something will slow me down or get in the way you know the way it is. :)

Yes please, if you could do some wheels off the checks, of your batt volts and Amps, at say 1000rpm increments of Mg2 speed, I.e when running at constant settled speed, till current is stable.
Thanks muchly.

I'll see what I can do but it won't be untill after I get it back in as I planned on taking it out tomorrow and we currently have torrential rain so will not be able to today

My new transmission jack is earning it's pay already and I'm really impressed moved really easy with one hand on block paving with the l210 on it.

IMG20240223125149.jpg
I managed to get the front mounting plate and coupling disc out without even dropping the Transmission just unbolted it, dropped the propshaft and rolled it back far enough to get it out it felt completely stable.
I tried drilling through the coupling to put some bolts through it to lock it but I couldn't drill through the steel with carbide drill bits so I gave up and welded it up instead.
It's all back in now I just have to refill the transmission oil and I can get back to work :)

Sorry to say I didn't run those tests for you as I only had a short window in the weather to get the fluids refilled and the car off the jack so it's back on it's wheels but I'll do what I can if the rain stops :)

Well now I don't have the rattling coupling to confuse matters I did some more test runs today before the rain came in again
the results are interesting but confusing

there's a cut towards the second part of this run
Screenshot 2024-02-25 115018.png

this run I used minimal throttle no cut
Screenshot 2024-02-25 115210.png
this run again minimum throttle no issues
Screenshot 2024-02-25 115816.png

here you can see a cut poss 2 (I didn't feel the first one) with a more aggressive run
Screenshot 2024-02-25 120048.png

definite cut in the 2nd half was also juddering in the middle
Screenshot 2024-02-25 120625.png

make what you will of this one
Screenshot 2024-02-25 121431.png

gradual build up the foot to the floor no cut
Screenshot 2024-02-25 121655.png

and my favorite, floored it from standstill no cut lots of wheel spin
wheelspin smoothe.png
so anyway I have no idea what to make of most of this but the cut is still there. I've taken the inv volts and speed out of the later plots as they dont seem to be connected to the cuts also no matter how hard you push it current does not exceed about 120A

Note how in the 2nd to last plot, your "torque" request jumps but IDC does not increase this possibly highlights the fact that the command being sent is not fully correct.

Looking at this you can see there is no change from your roll on PotNom to it jumping from 15% to nearly 100%. I would hazard a guess scaling or byte positioning is not 100% correct. Possibly offset by one byte as the torque is transmitted as 16bit across two bytes.

Best way this could be fixed is logging an IS300h :) or just trying all sorts of random hunches until you get lucky.

*EDIT*

ok so the only things that can command a torque cut are : motor rpm, hs temp, motor temp, battery undervoltage, idcmax

Plot these to see if they're sane, and post your params?

Gaffa says he's happy to have a phonecall with you to debug if it'll help.
just for reference all of the above parameters are well within their limits

Did you do any testing with the X5 pack s-box to see if it functions for pre-charge etc using the 330E/530E CAN work? And to check if it functions with the zombie integration?

no it's just sat in a box, I believe it's the same as in the 12kwh 530e pack but never tried it

trying to get as much data as possible while the weather holds
(I plotted the front rear balance in the first couple just because I didn't know what it was and wanted to see)

there is a cut just after the 2nd half of the first plot
Screenshot 2024-02-27 115730.png
all the rest of the plots were pretty good as long as I'm really careful with the throttle once it's moving I can floor it with no issues

FrontRearBalance doesn't seem to do anything. It's hardcoded to 50 for all vehicles except Subaru but doesn't seem to be used for anything.

sorry this is not exciting the squeaking is the plastic surround on the steering column rubbing
first run was smooth, light throttle

2nd run juddering and cutting when pulling away at junction even with light throttle the wheels were spinning

it is still very clear there is a bit of lag from potnom/torque request to when it pulls current.

The vast discrepancy of torque actually being generated/power draw vs the "commanded" torque is crazy. 'Potnom of 25% yields roughly a 800 torque request which can yield the max draw of 110A.

Would it be possible for you to do a run with the following:

1. Throtmax : 20%
2. Throtmax : 25%
3. Throtmax : 30%

This should allow you to floor it and just pull consistent requests, I would want to see the current build over time and the differences between the three.

yes no problem may be a few days as the weather is supposed to be bad for the next few days and it's spinning the wheels in the dry what would you like logged ? :)

not 100% what you asked for but my neighbours are getting fed up with me driving up and down the road
20%

This last was at 5% throtmax and was very rattly I think that my badly worn diff is contributing

These are perfect, what variable is on the right axis only the torque?

So currently you are hitting +/- 110-120A consistently, has your voltage been dropping and you not charged when doing tests over the past week?

It is very likely that you are hitting a discharge power limit.
