I was recently given a Keba wallbox, that has Ethernet connectivity. It has an odd UDP interface (https://www.keba.com/download/x/8cfc041 ... p_pgen.pdf) that takes string commands and there is a python class available to control it: https://github.com/dannerph/keba-kecontact
Unfortunately it seems I don't have the correct variant, i.e. it will reply to the "report 1" command to identify itself and that's it. No current control, no measured values.
My variant is KC-P20-ES240010-000 and the variants that support it are KC-P20-ES240020-000 and KC-P20-ES240030-000
Strangely it also has a web interface that shows all measured values.
I'm starting to think it's some stupid marketing limitation and that maybe there is a way to convert it to a "b" or "c" series with some solder jumper or so. Anyone know?

I remember you have to set a DIP switch in order for it to respond to the other UDP commands.
Can you show us the full JSON response from 'report 1' and 'report 2'? (And leave out the serial number if you like)
