Gen1 and Gen2 BMS (LBC) technical differences

Hello, Is it correct that the ZE0 BMS has only white connectors and the ZE1 has a gray and a black connector? can the two modules be interchanged? Or what are the technical differences between the two BMS? Are the CAN bus messages different?
thank you

FluxCapacitor - Jonny Smith here? :)

Yes that is all correct. The (important) CAN messages are identical down from the very first up to the 40 kWh BMS (never seen the 62 kWh one). They can be interchanged but be aware the ZE0 expects 4 temp sensors as opposed to 3 and has a slightly different pin mapping.

Can you please give me more info on the pin mapping for a 40kwh and how it differs? Or point me to a place to look? I think that's the problem with my latest conversion.
