InstaVolt Chademo Failure

I'm having issues getting Chademo working on the InstaVolts. Other units locally work, but these InstaVolts are popping up all over the place so would ideally like them to work.

(IN1 is d1, logs show 1 when 12v applied and 0 when not, IN2 is d2, logs show 1 when not grounded and 0 when it is)

Anyone got any ideas what might be up? Log and can log attached.

Having looked at these logs and logs of other stations that aren't an issue, the thing that stands out the most is the current requests starts ramping up before the reported voltage and car voltage are equalised. I've added an extra step in the code after closing contactors to wait until the reported station voltage is greater than (the cars voltage - 50) before going in to the RUNNING state. Will test and report back.

That's the ones with the advertising screens, right? If so they worked for us even with early ramping

Dont recall advertisements, but they look like this

Pretty much stumped so taking a punt, dont suppose you have any logs from these units to compare with?

So the early ramping isn't the issue. Updated the code to wait until the EVSE reported voltage is close to what the car is expecting before starting ramping and still no luck.

Went 100m down the road to the BP unit round the back of the hotel as this is my proof it still works unit after making changes and that was happy.

Out of ideas now :(

Finally got this sorted, it was the idiot that designed the hardware :D I'd used the internal pullup for IN2 and also forgotten that I'd got a 4.7k inline with the IN2 from when I'd assumed it was active high and used a voltage divider)

Nice!

I still wonder what the issues is with us & BP. It connects fine, the EVSE sees the battery percentage and then it stops. Haven't tested for a few days with them so I don't remember their error code. I think it goes through the Isolation test fine as well but don't remember now off the top of my head.

We can charge with many/most units of the following providers (at least): Fastned, Gridserve, InstaVolt, EbCharge, MFG, Osprey. PodPoint and BP Charge I don't think ever worked so far.
