Excellent, pretty much exactly what I had in mind. Good to know it works OK in that orientation; that is now my plan for installation.
Did a quick search following on from your comment on the mounting rubbers, it seems they are a known weak point on the Outlander and can fail fairly quickly. There are tougher polyurethane versions available though.
Can't quite make out your car, is it a Mini Marcos?

I swaped power steering racks in to cars with a 20 year gap, that being said after a quick search it dose look like the newer EPS racks have a different mount.
Your Prius eps should still maintain good road feel and makes open pilot easier to set up

Braking will be done by regeneration?

you need:
steering(done!)
Brake(half way there?)
throttle(done)
vss (done!)
radar (easy)

Liking the sound or this too, my daily has adaptive cruise and It's going to be the main thing I'll miss. Does open pilot use radar or a camera for the cruise control?

I didn't use the Steering Angle Sensor but it is needed, i guess?
I wouldn't know how to electrically power the brake? That would mean to put an ABS Block in that has this ability, but that also means to build custom brake lines. So i guess braking by torque command (regeneration) has to serve the purpose! Still i will integrate the radar sensor right away so in the near future i can have a self driving Impreza!

Brakeing is done with a servo, electric motor, assisted master cylinder. So your ABS can stay. It's the vacuum servo etc. what can go.

Awesome! I'll see how i can mount the brake booster with as little effort as possible.
Something else i did was installed a potentiometer to my HVAC unit. Johannes had the idea of using a potentiometer and convert the value to the canbus so the AC or the heater run in variable stages due to the input.

Today i mounted everything on the front axle to get the car back on the wheels as soon as possible:
The front brake calipers and discs are installed and the steering is fully set up:
Getting closer step by step:
I marked and sent the already cut to the right length driveshafts to motomax.pl to get a set of custom made driveshafts for my build:

The iBooster is in the car and fits perfectly well.
Anyone ever controlled the iBooster via CAN-Messages?
Ground Clearance is alright, though i'm going to fabricate a tiny skid plate:

I have a honda 2018 iBooster - hopefully the can messages will be the same like with the tesla iBooster.
What is the MC?

This used to be a button for the front headlight washers. I asked the guys next door (they wrap cars and can make stickers, too) if they can make this button look like a charging door button. I think they did a great job:

I found out that i can make twisted pair cables easily - did the first one by hand and it took me forever. With the power drill it takes 5 seconds
Nice, twistet pair can bus cables
On This End there's the plug for the prius power steering
I crimped all the cables for the iBooster plug. I'll connect both can bus systems of the iBooster as i have two can bus systems in my car anyways.
