Hi,
I've been considering buying a Renault Zoe ZE40, as Renault are dropping the Zoe from their lineup here in Australia, and new old stock or dealer demo models are selling for around 30% off the standard list price (List is $52,860 AUD including on road costs, most for sale are $36,990 AUD including on road costs).
The downside of the ZE40 is that it only has 22 kW 3 phase AC charging, which is great when it's available, but most of the rapid charge networks that have been rolled out in Australia are CHAdeMO and CCS2 units. I got to thinking, is there a to make a device that talks to the CHAdeMO charge point, provides what it needs, but exports up to 22 kW 3 phase on the other side that a 3 phase EVSE could be plugged into, or would it just be easier to hack CHAdeMO into a Zoe ZE40?
Even though it would be a bit big and clunky, perhaps something like a Prius inverter, with a CHAdeMO control board, and the 3 phase goes out of one of the MG ports, and it could even act as the EVSE. Does it sound crazy?
Jamie

Re: CHAdeMO to 3 phase AC bridge
Fitting a chademo plug and hardware is much simpler, lighter, and smaller than your proposal.
A variety of chademo controllers are starting to pop up. including the one developed on openinverter.
current shunt, controller, 2 contractors and chademo plug. all you need!
