ah well i did not realize that, I am only interested in 6000 rpm or less. What is the efficiency like with FOC?
If I don't need the battery voltage boosted it would be a lot simpler...

Because you want to use other cells that make up a smaller battery pack and need to get the module you want to use above 207V.

Where have you seen the GS450H get to 10000rpm at 250V?

Sure, I answered to johnspark plan "I would like to use the boost converter to top up my ~300V battery to 350 V" which is more likely not needed and would limits output power.

I should have tested max rpm when my battery was even below 200V at low SOC. I did not have problems on normal road speeds when MG2 is designed for efficiency and kept below 5000rpm at high gear. This 250V and 10krpm is rough estimate from GS450h BEMF voltage, not accurate value.
