Don't most people go the other way to get more speed at lower rpm?
You seem to want to turn the Chevy into a very quick accelerating projectile

Have you brought shares in a tire company?
Isn't the gs450h Torquay enough for the Chevy?

so Mike seems super nice and took the time to talk to me and said that the OEM parts I bought off eBay are less likely to be noisy unlike the much lower gear ratio after market ones he sells, so we agreed to give these a try
I only paid $120 for mine with tax and shipping on eBay, where as he wanted $400 for his 5.18s or something low ratio like that, I think it would have been fun to try those, but oh well
this place is only like 5 miles from my house, so that's a bonus!

just going to post some mandatory stare and compare RPM calculator differences of 3.73 vs 4.11 at 65 MPH
I am running 215/65 R17 tires as dictated by my wider rims in order to clear the bed in the back of the truck
3.73 gears spin at 2900 RPM @65 MPH
4.11 gears spin at 3200 RPM @ 65 MPH

""Tall" gears and "short" gears are referring to the gear ratios.
Tall (high) gears have LOWER numerical numbers such as 2.79, 2.90, 3.00, 3.25.
Short (low) gears have HIGHER numerical numbers, such as 4.11, 4.30, 4.56, 4.88, 5.13, 5.36, etc.
In simple terms, the numbers mean how many turns of the drive shaft to one turn of the rear wheel."

there we two types made the 9 kWh from like 2017 - June 2019 and then the second version the 12 kWh ones from July 2019 - 2024? they come in the 330e*, 530e, 740e, and the X5
* the 330e has one less module so only five modules inside of it, the other's have six
and what The Greg is a thinking of doing is ordering one aluminum plate ($375) from them and one steel ($275) and then seeing how they fit, if they fit like OJ's glove I plan on ordering some more and offering them up at cost to others who may want/need them, not sure how this business model will work as we have to ship them across the planet and metal be heavy, well we shall see
thank you so much for the recommendations Matt I will check those places out, wondering how they work, do I have to ship them a blank or do they pull from their inventory, I think if I have to ship them the material that may be cost prohibitive

Oh, no, you place your order and they cut it from their own inventory.
I think SendCutSend even has free shipping for "eligible orders".
There's no way you'd have a viable business shipping metal around, let alone twice. Maybe in drop shipping your own designs. Turnaround would be just about instant.
Even in Canada the shipping is apparently only $19. I can't send myself a pencil for $19 in Canada.
They both do instant pricing. Spit out a design and see what they'd charge.
I talked with one of those two companies a few years back and tried to get a community discount code or something, but... I think it fell apart on my end in one of many burnouts.
[Edited to add, it was SendCutSend]: "So there are a lot of variables but we can go up to .500" 6061 Aluminum and that would run you 300-400 dollars each. .250"-.375" mild steel would be $100-$250 each. Keep in mind, cut time is a factor in our pricing so the more simple the design is, the cheaper it is. Also, we offer quantity discounting so the price will drop considerably if you order more than one adapter plate at a time"
They'll also tap holes and even do bends and stuff for you, pretty cheap.

Do you just tap your debit card?
Many charge providers in Germany are in raptor mode right now. Tapping your card can be an expensive exercise. And since they charge the same ridiculous prices (like 60-80 ct) among each other roaming has become equally expensive. Only if you use the specific app with a specific subscription are you back at feasible prices but locked into one provider. Joys of unregulated markets...

so this is ChargePoint my favorite charger and yes I have an app on my phone and I just hold the phone close to the charge station and it talks Klingon to it, I think the last time my friend did the math for me, if gasoline was $4.00 per gallon then I was paying $1.00 for electricity for equal range

this part really pisses me off, the broken click click clip on the handle, and the problem is this station had two handles on it an A and B if you will and this is the A one and it was the broken one so any time I wanted to charge it offered this one ie unlocked it for me, well my truck would not recognize it since it would never clip in, so I had to lay this A handle on the ground and trick the station into thinking it was in use for it to unlock the B handle, Science People, science !
here's a good handle for reference, feel me ?

so about to do a teardown of the newer SP41 battery packs which are the same form factor as the SP06 but have 12 kWh capacity instead of the 9 kWh
BMW started making the SP41 in July of 2019 so if you are in the mood for one, hold out for these newer packs - you're welcome
I would say expect to pay $150 per killer watt for these beauties, so roughly $1,800 per 12 kWh pack these days
each one of those six modules is 65 volts !!! and weighs 27 pounds
