DeLorean with Tesla Drivetrain
The car will be on display at the Fully Charged Live Show in June (here). It's using the Zero EV inverter controller (here) which is a commercial version of the open source inverter controller developed by Damien and Johannes

Re: DeLorean with Tesla Drivetrain
As a DeLorean owner ( I'm restoring one) I was interested to see this thread.
Nice work - I'll be following this with a lot of interest.
If you wanted to raise further awareness on this please feel free to join the Facebook page - DeLoerean Restoration Projects. It's a well behaved bunch on there. ( - not like some e-forums)
Cheers

Kevin appears to be deliberately not part of this community anymore. His former company website just redirects to the company's original website in another country. I haven't seen him post anywhere in a couple years now.
Electric Deloreans are not unpopular. I'm pretty sure there's at least 3 in progress or done, in just the last couple years, but, no specific names come to mind.

Here's one from the owner of the Delorean Motor Company (bought all their stock, enough to make a few hundred more cars):
Here's a playlist of a guy converting his. Project Lightning:
Here's an Australian one:
... not an exhaustive list.
