Hello ALL, brand new here and have been looking through a few different locations and still not sure what the best BMS would be for connecting to a TESLA MODEL S P100D 100KWh battery. I have seen Damien's device but not sure if it's updated/still in testing as he doesn't really update his stuff often nor has a discord to announce various news.
I plan on purchasing the battery and utilizing it as powerwall and connected to an offline solar system. But I want to make sure that I don't purchase the wrong things.
Thank you!

Re: Tesla 100 KWH Battery - Looking for BMS
this has been covered many times over. please use the wiki and search.
just use the stock bms boards in the modules, and simpbm as the master. vevo bms is a commercial remake of simpbms https://veroelectric.com/product/vero-bms-v2

Thank you. I have looked in the wiki and search as stated in the post. But nothing shows anything current 2025.
So with the Vero BMS v2 how is it any different to simpBMS? not seeing any updates to simpBMS would be awesome to have the developer or someone take it over.

What are you looking to do? Use the whole pack as is?
As stated all code is opensource and on github, the microcontroller used, Teensy 3.2, stopped being made. If you got the skills it can modified to work on another microcontroller and then tailored to your needs.

Yes I do see that thank you, and you had said 3.2 wasn't being made but I was more talking about the actual custom PCB since Damien hasn't updated his board or not sure the status of it as his website conflicts with his github. I love open source and I contribute to it as well so I would love to utilize something that is fully open and I can donate to that project instead of purchasing from a large company that cares about profiting.tom91 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 10:04 am What are you looking to do? Yes, instead of purchasing modules as it would be more cost effective to use the whole pack.
