Hyundai Ioniq MY 2020 PTC heater

Post by larsrengersen »

Bought to try to get it to work on the bench but not enough time and no CAN log so up for sale.

It is CAN controlled
What I read it should be able to deliver up to 6 kW.
It has three segments.
Comes with control cable pigtail/connector and HV cable with connector.

Pinout available (see photo).

Price : 160 euro inc 21% Dutch VAT + shipping from The Netherlands or best offer
B2B sales within the EU (so with valid VAT ID) or non EU buyers can subtract 21% VAT.
To UK inc. shipping 156 euro ex VAT (to be above 135 GBP Brexit threshold for collecting UK VAT).

Think the original part number is 97191G 7200 but not sure.

Anyone?
Updated price = 100 ex. VAT so 121 incl. VAT
B2B to UK is possible.
< 135 GBP not possible to the UK so then you need to buy more from me ;)
I will also list a Tesla Model X PTC

I have a 2020 ioniq in here in north America and am interested. Do you know the dimensions of the heating element specifically? Trying to see if I can fit in mx5 heater box. Understandable if you are unable to ship to united states

Sorry, I almost missed your message as I did not get a notification.
The element is 23x19cm
Shipping to the US is possible (I have a shipping account and ship to the US on a regular basis).
And to the US I do not have to add the 21% VAT so it is 100 euro.

thank you for taking the time to do the measurements. unfortunately the depth works for me but the height is too tall for my use case. I need to find one around 20x14.6cm

somewhat related, I also did not receive any notification for this reply.

No problem, you are welcome.
Off topic from my own topic but perhaps then the Smart Heater is suitable for you.

Just on/off with a contactor. Not very powerful. I used to have it in my car and got around 1,1 kW out of it.

thank you, yes I have one of these currently and will likely move forward with using it, but i was hoping to have a slightly cleaner solution with CAN/LIN/PWM control. it mostly fits with some clearancing (in case anyone else with an mx5 comes across this thread and doesn't want to use a coolant heater)
