Hello,
I currently have a rock crawler that has the EM57 Leaf motor. The build is on instagram @wamort. A Thunderstruck CAN controller is currently used. I am trying to reduce the rate of torque increase by changing the "accellim" value which has helped but the motor becomes unstable if you reduce the value too low so I am thinking about using the replacement board.
My question deals with the openinverter replacement board. I am assuming the board has a setting that will reduce the rate at which torque is produced.
What would one adjust to reduce the rate of torque on the openinverter board and is there a practical limit to how low you can go? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Leaf based Rock Crawler
There are two mechanisms, not sure which one suits. accelmax limits the acceleration rate, throtramp limits the torque change both rising and falling.

Hey Wayne, do you need a board setup? Have some spares just north of the 49th.

Re: Leaf based Rock Crawler
You got any tips for how to setup the component's to get the right gearing for a leaf motor and rock crawling?
