Hmm,

Mine was due to arrive a couple of weeks ago but on the day it was due, its status changed and now Amazon say that they will tell me when it will be shipped, but they never do :-(

Cheers,

Andy.

Yes, selling on amazon is a lot less fun than buying there. Or in you case even that isn't.
If you have a chance to cancel it you can just grab it from the "local" shop

Just ordered @johu. Forgot the promo code but, I don't care if it's all going to a worthy cause! Looking forward to the read.
Well done (voracious hand clapping emoji)

Hello,

I ordered the pdf version of the book early this morning (Eastern U.S. time) and haven't received download instructions.
I understand that the download needs to be manually "unlocked", but it's been 12 hours. I'm not sure how long it should take, and I just want to READ.
I'm in the planning process and feel like a sponge at the moment trying to learn as much as I can before spending thousands of dollars.

Please advise.

And thanks in advance.

Steve

Sorry, was on a 1000 km road trip the last two days (EV of course), it is unlocked now.

That order got cancelled somehow, so last week I remembered to re-order.

Do we really not have a German word for 'crimp'?

Had a quick browse, will read the electronic section in detail.

The German word for "(to) crimp" would be "verpressen" I guess, similarly for "crimp connector" it would be "Pressverbinder", "Presskabelschuh", ...

In the meanwhile "crimpen" is used as german word. Ich crimpe, du crimpst, die Crimpzange, gecrimpte Stecker. This is commonly used.

;) Crimpen was always a German word and was only adopted by the Americans
