Hello. I am very slowly sifting through the parts I bought from Zapatero's e-Mpreza build. One thing I found is this box. My googling tells me it's an Outlander HV junction box.
When I open it up it looks like the HV cables go right through it via solid bars, and the orange cable has 3 wires coming out of it, two of which connect to the HV positive (via a 20A fuse) and the HV negative (no fuse), and the third one connects to vehicle earth.
What does one use it for? Where does it go in relation to other HV components? How is it controlled?
What do you need an Outlander HV Junction box for?

It's for connecting the heater and a DC-DC converter for heated screens or DC-AC converter.

Aha! Thank you kindly, just what I was looking for. That’s a nice diagram - it’ll help me tremendously.
