slipstart Parameter Clarification

I've been looking through some of the parameters I haven't really messed with, and could use some clarification on slipstart.

The current definition on the wiki states "% positive throttle travel at which slip is increased" which seems fairly simple, but I'm wondering what its actually doing and how does it interact (if at all) with other slip related parameters like fslipmin, fslipmax, fslipconstmax, fconst?
