After enough hours spent, I removed this setup from a project (replaced with TC chargers)
initially 3 or 4 chargers worked (all on the same CANbus) I couldn't change id's of all chargers.
in the end only 1 kept working.
I want them gone, but prefer giving away instead of scrapping. So to someone who really knows these chargers...send me an email on daniel@eco-lithium.nl
the fans are 230 VAC
gone: 6x eltek charger, at least 1 working... + housing and cooling

This is in the Netherlands, I was involved with trying to get the chargers to work. They were behaving very erratically and not responding as expected per documentation so anyone taking on these chargers needs to be "CAN bus competent" to troubleshoot them and get them to work properly if it all possible.

The difference of those rack chargers vs Volvo liquid cooled chargers is that they require 100ms or less CAN signal repeatability. Instead of 800ms in Volvo. Problem with control i think begins when all of the chargers report on the same channel and thereby saturate CAN bus control.tom91 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 10:38 am This is in the Netherlands, I was involved with trying to get the chargers to work. I noticed really stable control when i had ONE 02FF command ID telegram but three different charger IDs where each charger was reporting on.
Later i did reprogram my VCU to spit out 3 different command IDs coupled with a button to switch between them:

I never used any output diodes.
There were reports of chargers dying in 3phase star wiring within one year. I never had a problem with 3phase operation within at least 1year period...
EDIT: If you want to see if chargers still work, there is a glass fuse inside that you can replace and this one can blow rather fast. Simply open the charger and measure it. If it blew you can replace it AND TEST THE CHARGER ON SINGLE PHASE ONLY. Of yourse you want to fuse that by 10A input fuse for obvious reasons...

We ran it like this and there were issues still happening and it being unreliable.

If these are like the eltek power chargers I have, they should be mounted to a cold plate (wc) or heat sink, do you have a model number for them?
