Mercedes OEM L09-1 EV Battery

Post by golfdubcrazy »

hi as we don't have a Mercedes section i put this in general. has anyone tried this 48v battery with 12v dcdc converter ontop?

looks quite interesting. looks like a bi directional dc converter going from 48 to 12v

Oops, didn't think of that. 👍. I have one sitting here taking up space. Might have to poke it with some @vwbrady ingenuity.

If the dc-dc truly is bi directional this could potentially make a geat solar storage battery for a camper

looking at the circuit board it looks like it should be bi directional. think vwbrady mentioned it was linbus controlled so should be easy to control. if anyone has a merc we can connected to we can log the linbus and easily be able to control both the battery and dc converter saving tearing these things apart
