Hi
Im working with a Subaru Legacy/outback and leaf motor too, Im going to mount the motor on rear subframe and add a second motor later on. Very interested in your progress. Especially enabling the power steering. Are you faking engine speed signal or just sending can frame to steering controller?

In substation 1 i'm using ardustim to fake crank and cam signals to keep the ecu happy (1200rpm) but on this one i will try to send the required messages to the power steering and remove the ECU.
ECU wants to have control over EGR valve, throttle valve, fuel suction valve, turbo pressure valve and some other sensors. (Diesel)
