happy to report the final assembly has commenced, with the help of a few friends we got the drive shaft mounted, the transmission mounted, the cab mounted, and the "engine" crossmember installed, we could not go any further since I am still waiting on the control arm rubber seals, yes $3.00 parts, lol

hey I know let's check on those $3 dollar rubber seals that are holding up the project and preventing us from putting the control arms back on

ha ha, right? well this thing has been sitting 12 miles away from my house since Sunday (two days ago) I know this is the US Postal Service but a buddy of mine worked for FedEx and said they would sit on packages if their predicted tracking said they would get there later so that they would not make their tracking system look bad, true story, he had no reason to lie to mearber333 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 7:01 amThey are probably outsourceing couriers, not US based .Gregski wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 6:39 am hey I know let's check on those $3 dollar rubber seals that are holding up the project and preventing us from putting the control arms back on

Here in North Carolina, FedEx wastes time by shipping it back and forth across the state. Why be efficient and leave it in a warehouse when you can send it first to Durham, then Greensboro, Charlotte, Kernersville, and then finally deliver it in Raleigh? (for those of you not from around here, Durham and Raleigh are effectively the same metro area, they share an airport)Gregski wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 1:35 pmha ha, right? well this thing has been sitting 12 miles away from my house since Sunday (two days ago) I know this is the US Postal Service but a buddy of mine worked for FedEx and said they would sit on packages if their predicted tracking said they would get there later so that they would not make their tracking system look bad, true story, he had no reason to lie to mearber333 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 7:01 amThey are probably outsourceing couriers, not US based .Gregski wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 6:39 am hey I know let's check on those $3 dollar rubber seals that are holding up the project and preventing us from putting the control arms back on

USPS, Amazon, and UPS have actually been pretty good for me.
If at first you don't succeed, buy a bigger hammer.

Oh yeah, that brings up a good idea for a question, what do you ALL hate more plumbing or wiring? I must say that slowly building up your tools to do the job right does squash the hate down a tid bit, the hard part is justifying $300 dollar quality single purpose tools, like this stuff Fast Matt recommends, but I luv the dude.

Matt mentions it as well: use the brake line that was originally used. However, that can be a challenge. Most classic cars use 3/16" or 4,75mm (or 5mm) and Tesla (and I also expect Honda in your case) uses a larger diameter. So I recommend to use an adapter.
Are you going to upgrade the brake switch on the Wilwood with a pressure transducer?

honestly I am learning as I go and following your write up as much as I can and as much as I understand it, as far as the brake switch I have not thought about that yet, so I am completely open to suggestions and appreciate any and all advice, especially from you, please and thank you

What is he up to now?
I swear it was the hottest day of the year that day and I was laying upside down on sharp gravel drilling out rivets to get the stabalizer bar support brackets off the frame, it was so bad I decided to get two of them
