If you want to listen to EME’s internal communications with the DC/DC converter and on-board charger, prepare pizzas and lots of cola for several days.
- Works with 16-bit SPI transmission with 500 kHz clock
- Transmits 80 words in a packet (i.e. 1280 bits)
- Alternately sends a packet to the DC/DC converter and one to the on-board charger every 5-5 msec
- In addition, it alternates packets, ie two packets go to the DC/DC converter and two to the on-board charger.
- A total of 64,000 bytes of data travels back and forth per second. Fortunately, there is a lot of zero data in it as well.
I'm not completely normal to start doing this, but now I'm curious ...
