In Ireland we undertake training & open source RND for the New Electric group, 5 companies converting boats, buses, cars and trucks to electric drive since 2008.

Our projects use open and closed source from many different vendors and it isn't always possible to discuss them in mainstream interviews.
That said, we do actively promote open inverter during our courses, events, and through social media and we strongly suggest the community invests more effort in this going forward.

In the two interviews i did, I dropped Openinverter in there plenty and how i would have not got where i was if not for the community built up around it. Guess anyone would start to glaze over going into detail and I wasnt waffling about the car or if I knew Greta.

Maybe the concept of "community" is hard to grasp or deemed boring by the press. I talked 1 hour to the guy of "Auto Motor & Sport" but only like 2 sentences made it into the final 6 page article (about Zapateros GT86)
