Hi ,knowlegeable people , Ive been playing with a Lexus MGR whilst learning about motor control but I made the rookie error of taking out the 3 resolver screws when I pulled the side cover to see why it was running so well. when reassembled the resolver ring can only go one position with about +-10 degrees of rotation I notice there is a threaded bung in the case such that the resolver can be rotated from outside .
Question : can the position of the resolver be tuned out using the syncoff function in the Johannes control interface or is there a physical 'tuning that has to take place to get it spot on ?
Thanks in advance
John

Re: MGR Rookie error
Put it roughly in the middle of the range and just use synoffs for tuning as normal.
I'm going to need a hacksaw
