First Setup With Leaf Adapter Board.

Post by zippy500 »

After damaging my first adapter board trying to solder wires directly to the board. I have now got the extra wires attached to the second board (going old skool hard wired (at the moment)).

I am finding snippets on the forum. Can I just confirm that this is correct what to do after fitting the board back in the inverter.

... I have powered up the board just on the leaf original harness at the moment.

... Have "blinky blinky" on Main board and wifi adater.

... Have logged onto wifi web interface.

... have updated latest firmware release. v4,76.R https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-sin ... ag/v4.76.R

... Change config settings to leaf motor https://openinverter.org/wiki/Configura ... Leaf_Motor

......and thats where I am at moment..Is the next steps correct..

... 12v to Pin 22 IN_START

... 12v to Pin 16 IN_FORWARD

....Go onto setup syncofs https://openinverter.org/wiki/Using_FOC_Software

I haven't set up any contactors yet. will probably run it at 60v for setup.

I can see PIN 43 is Pre charge signal.
What Pin is Main contactor out?

Does this sound right ? have I missed any steps ?

Thanks

I can't answer all your questions....
You need to supply 12V to 46
Ground to 47

... 12v to Pin 22 IN_START This is momentary
... 12v to Pin 16 IN_FORWARD

And take note of this note pin 42 is a 12Vinput on the original harness
Make sure not toconnect 12V BUT to DC Switch! .........
Maximum continous current is 350mA, use extra relay or PMOS for larger contactors
