Hi All,
So I got one of these Tesla Model 3 combo units off ebay because.. it was cheap!
So I've hunted around and haven't had much luck in finding a pin out/wiring diagram for this unit - there are others out there that are similar with the 6 wires - so dual +ve, Gnd and wiper but not with these same colours. Has anyone maye used one of these successfully? If so, maybe you could share any pin out info?
I am using a Tesla SDU + OI arrangement - here is my conversion page I started:
https://www.diyelectriccar.com/threads/ ... on.208076/
I would also like to go the variable regen route like this for the SDU:
And the brake pedal sensor has 4 pins in it but only 2 leads are connected:
I tried looking up the sensor part number to get some info but not much luck.
So I wonder if this could be configured to give a variable output using the other 2 available pins?

Re: Tesla Model 3 Combo Pedal Pin Out?
I'm sorry i can't contribute, but I am also curious as to what makes the tesla 3/Y pedal special compared to any of the other 6 wire Ethrottle pedals on other vehicles.

The Tesla M3 service manual is out there on the Internet. You'll likely have to torrent it (but I couldn't possibly comment). It has wiring diagrams which show the wiring of the two types of pedal:

Re: Tesla Model 3 Combo Pedal Pin Out?
So I figured out a bunch of the info from this great video from Ingineerix here:
I then stuck 5V across the relevant pins and made this short video where you can see the voltage returns on the 2 return pins:
Hopefully it's helpful!
I still want to fiddle around with the break switch which just has 2 out of 4 pins used at the moment - I wonder what the other 2 pins are for?

Re: Tesla Model 3 Combo Pedal Pin Out? [SOLVED]
No, I did a bit of hunting but then figured out what pins are what from the Ingineerix video - so I think for my conversion I will use ones that go from 0.8V > 3.8V. Hopefully that works!

Re: Tesla Model 3 Combo Pedal Pin Out?
I opened up the brake pedals switch out of curiosity and inside its just a sort of slider switch with 2 sides - NO/NC:
Hopefully useful for others who might wonder about it too.
