Re: Subaru Legacy Estate (diesel)
Subaru orginal rear diff and drivesafts won't handle that power seen one explode when one was converted to rwd with just stock diesel engine. I would just go the route of a second motor for the front drive for 4wd.

Can t see the motor fitting like that, leaf motor barely fits in the back after modifying subframe. If you want the easy option I would just used a gs450h gear box

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
So uploaded Kelju's .bin above (thanks for sharing Kelju - you are using a Leaf setup with the vcu yes?). To make it obvious if the inverter power relay activated I disconnected it from the inverter and just connected a continuity meter across the terminals so I could hear if/when it was closed. Ev...

File names give brief description of what was happening with the log. Ill find vin for car and we can see what common between vins and then compare as that probably easiest way once we know both vins.

Hi there, I tried to get the minimum required can messages on the Renault Zoe Battery CAN Bus in order to get it rolling with a DIY-ed Battery and BMS. I logged traffic on the Bus using a Renault Zoe that was owned by a friend of mine and then tried to replicate them on my own Zoe, which I bought u...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
you need to calibrate your pot 2 , I cant see pot 1 min but I assume as your idle value is above the min ,meaning that inverter won't actually go into drive as it already thinks your pressing throttle. I am surprised to see you don't have any inverter udc , is your inverter making a high pitched win...

Re: Zero Grid Export and Reading energy meter with ESP
My next development is to use an ac coupled storage inverter(sunny boy sb storage) with a ev battery then integrate it by chademo v2g mode. Those Sunny Boy Storage inverters look pretty good, I want one :D Do you need other sunny boy equipment (home manager/meter)? You need a sunspec compatible met...

Re: Zero Grid Export and Reading energy meter with ESP
Im on this journey too , im using a shelly energy meter with assistant and bought an smart evse to dump the excess energy into the car. Only caveat is that min 100% solar mode is 6a but you can blend say 50% with grid by starting charger at 3a of export as its the same price as night rate for me. On...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Can you explain again what problem this refers to and how you fixed it? I don't think I have that issue. We have seen the "it can stick on full throttle in reverse" bug which I'm hoping is resolved before we try driving it... the inverter power relay doesn't turn on when unit goes into ru...
