Tesla PTC cabin heater // Model-S CAN4 logfile
Hi, I got a Tesla Model-S PTC heater and would preferable control it by CAN. Does someone have a logfile of the CAN-4 bus of a model-S ? There are several logs around from the other CAN-busses, unfortunately did not find one of the CAN4 yet. Alternatively I will modify the heater to accept a single ...

Connector is a TYCO / TE-Connectity 1-1456426-5. Widely available (Farnell, Digikey etc.) for less money. Below the datasheet with a table of the available pins / wire seals.

I usually find a lot of information regarding partnumbers on this site:

Re: Tesla Charger Support Thread
BAD2CD29-D619-4340-9FF4-49BB0AFE451E.jpeg It looks like your AC-voltage drops to 186V before it shuts off. Might be an undervoltage-switchoff ? If I see it correctly, you connected the charger through a long (thin) mains cable. Try with something thicker (2,5mm²) for less voltage drop. Separate fro...

Re: GM / Chevrolet Volt Gen2 DC-DC converter
I dont mean to sound too corrective, but all of the above numbers are for Chevy Volt II charger not DCDC. 24284603 is the actual DCDC converter. You are completely right; swapped the DC-DC & charger numbers. Tested the Volt gen2 charger as well (check the picture of the workbench, below the DC-...

Re: GM / Chevrolet Volt Gen2 DC-DC converter
They are indeed very cheap compared to e.g. the Tesla DC-DC's which start in Europe on Ebay at €500. I found some GM Service bulletins; there will probably be several part nr's around: 2016 model: 24275451 -> 24277705 -> 24283105 -> 24286781 2017-2018 model: 24281923 -> 24286781 2019 model: 24277908...

GM / Chevrolet Volt Gen2 DC-DC converter
Searching for a compact watercooled DC-DC converter I came across the GM Volt Gen2 DC-DC converter. Bought one at Ebay and just figured some things out: HV-connector: DELPHI / APTIV 33107347 Signal connector: JST ATSSPB-C0802Y-1AK Signal connector pinout: Pin1 = Voltage setpoint -> PWM 10...90%. >10...

Re: Mitsubishi i-MiEV BMS
Just figured some things out: - After the first SOC calculation, variable 'SOCset' is set. This triggers the 'bms.setSensors' which sets through 'setOffset' the temperature offset ('settings.TempOff', -52) to all the Cell Offset of all modules. - Voltage scaling of the i-MiEV CMU's is different; loo...

Mitsubishi i-MiEV BMS
Hi, I have a complete i-MiEV batterypack around for testing purposes, and was trying to get the SimpBMS running on it. Unfortunately currently getting some weird behaviour. I have been trying different things, but as an Arduino-beginner might be in need for some tips. After startup, the BMS starts '...

Re: Mitsubishi outlander charger and DC:DC
Just got my Outlander DC-DC & Charger fully working, thanks for the information in this thread ! A tone-generator app & headphone-out + small amplifier gave me the possibility to generate the various 1KHz PWM-width's for simulating the EVSE. However, it would be nice to be able to set a max...
