Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
Yes this is possible, i planned to do this with a Lebowski board before the CAN protocol was available, you would have to keep the mainboard on the top as it handles the isolated voltages, then you would patch into the gate drivers and current sensors. do you have a scheme for this? could you draw ...

EV Create sells this reservoir setup for 80-ish Eur (VAT inc.)+shipping which is a viable option, just an expensive one. I am considering buying this from them but it's a steep price for a plastic box and some hose. https://www.evcreate.com/shop/brakes-wheels/remote-brake-fluid-reservoir-for-iboost...

Re: Honda ima and his abilities An old beetle
8 kHz, 160 deadtime. do you remember that in all circuits for the ima inverter, the upper lower control points are confused in places? I showed it somewhere. the TOP of the dome is closer to the transformer. the input BOT is closer to the current sensors. and in the existing pdf files with diagrams,...

Re: Honda ima and his abilities An old beetle
Hm... i was seeing a lot of EMI while using HSG inverter with IMA and Lebowski over 220Vdc. I would love to use it with 320Vdc where HSG is made for. But current sensors wouldnt cooperate over 200Vdc and there was a lot of rocking at low rpm. Can you explain how did you solve this? Did you use spec...

Re: Mitsubishi Outlander rear axle
I have fulfilled my promise. I disassembled the Outlander's rear motor and counted the pairs of rotor poles using an external magnet. there are 4 of them!!! not 5! the same applies to his resolver, it has 4 pairs of poles, not 5! Please convey this information to all interested. in the evening I wil...

Hm... this was based on this test https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9197#p9197 I specificaly entered 5 pole pairs for motor and 5 pole pairs for resolver. Of course resolver pole ratio needs to be 1:1 at least for automotive design... Did you use rear motor or one of the front ones? ht...

Impressive, that gives me a good bit of headroom with the Lebowski! - currently 155A battery (contactor limited) and 230A phase at 140V: https://endless-sphere.com/sphere/threads/suzuki-rf400e-now-with-enertrac-mhm602.35865/page-6#post-1777461 I tested the ima inverter at a voltage of 530 volts!! h...

Re: Honda ima and his abilities An old beetle
Thank you :) I thought something went wrong because of the noises. no, in this regard (stability), the ima inverter is cooler than the sheet inverter! no matter how much I mocked, I could not drive it into an error even once (for example, an overcurrent), an inverter from a Nissan can sometimes all...

no, I did not use field attenuation.
two devices are one fuel level, and the second is an economizer (the device is connected to the vacuum on the intake manifold of the internal combustion engine and shows how economically you drive)

250 volts (60s li-ion battery). 40+ kW of power! the car is 1500 kg! 130 km / h.
as a motor, a generator with a Nissan Serena. as a ima inverter.

Re: Non spinning/juddering motor on new Nissan Leaf2 adapter boards
I just fitted a new control board (the one based on mini mainboard) to Touran and found the motor just juddering about instead of spinning. So I swapped the two resolver channels by typing "set pinswap 6" to the custom command field. This swaps sin/cos and also PWM channels 1 and 3 as bef...

OK i'm an idiot!!! (Occam's razor) The simplest way is the right way !! This is basically a rehash of Blinkwithoutdelay (https://assiss.github.io/arduino-zhcn/cn/Tutorial/BlinkWithoutDelay.html) as we a not dealing with super fast frequencies just using the raw rower of the esp32 is enough to creat...

it would also be interesting to me- is this sensor supported by the OI v3 board and if so, what type of sensor should I specify in the settings?

Re: Outlander rear motor and inverter
Really nice thanks By low inertia means low impedance wiring? I see from rear motor it uses 10 pole resolver ergo it seems to be 10 pole PMSM motor. Yes? where did you get this information? the other day I successfully launched my outlander rear motor, when I tried to build it by specifying 5 pairs...

Re: Step Down (Buck) charge v3 o.i. does not work
at the expense of noise, a very quiet squeak. it is the same for any mode of charging with any inverter and motor. now I have a honda ima inverter + a nissan serena motor (small starter generator) IMG20230912182026.jpg IMG20230903143308.jpg as a connection between the motor and the gearbox, I used g...

Re: Step Down (Buck) charge v3 o.i. does not work
Sounds like a plan :) Is it working now? What charge current did you reach and what are the noise levels? the efficiency of the system is 85% (2 kW from the mains = 1.7 kW to the battery) . 36c battery (151 volts fully charged) . the current sensors are calibrated at 90 amps and their gain is 4.31 ...
